The DER (Drug Extract Ratio) indicates how much of a particular plant was used to produce 1 part of the extract. For example, a DER of 10:1 means that 10 g of the whole plant was used to produce 1 g of extract. The higher the DER the better - more of the plant component is used to produce an extract with a higher DER. Such an extract is therefore more 'concentrated'.
